We are seniors and only had one month to be out of our home (before Christmas), so it required a lot of planning and coordination to make everything happen on time during a busy month of the year. ONESource provided a cost estimate and proposed schedule that clearly outlined all details. We used the move as an opportunity to seriously downsize, which meant making a ton of decisions about what to keep and what to discard, sell or donate. The items we were keeping were professionally packed in new moving boxes and clearly labeled. The 4 ladies that were assigned to our job worked amazingly hard and we certainly felt we received good value. They also were very good at helping us make decisions, gave good advice, and used humour to help keep our stress levels to a minimum. We told them they should rename their company to “ONESource Moving and Counselling Solutions” 😂 because they guided us through the inevitable occasions when husband and wife disagreed on what to keep and what to let go. This is not a standard moving company - they should be thought of as move partners. They arranged for the furniture and items we donated to go to both Habitat for Humanity and St. Vincent de Paul (who issued us charitable receipts). We have no hesitation in recommending ONESource to anyone who is seeking a full service moving company who specialize in senior’s moves / downsizing.
